Good leaders move their companies forward, but great leaders, like Bruce, share their passion, experience, and knowledge along the way. As the president and founder of Acton Consulting, his industry experience and proven leadership has resulted in the company’s steady growth and success.

Before he could share any knowledge, he had to harness it first. Bruce attained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the University of Alberta. He then honed his skills for ten years in the sales and marketing arena before taking on responsibilities at an international consulting firm for five years. Today, Bruce steers Acton Consulting's overall direction, delivers quality consulting, and helps to develop a team of skilled consultants capable of providing cost-saving, innovative, and customized solutions.

New innovations are often bred from past experience. Bruce continuously rises to the challenge of mentoring and shares his own experience with staff to help them think more innovatively as leading consultants. He enjoys sharing his wealth of knowledge and is often found in the classroom teaching a number of management courses, including some at the graduate level.

Bruce is passionate about work but is also actively involved in the community. He serves on several boards, is an active member of his local community league, and is involved with Friends of the Provincial Museum. When he is not training and competing in triathlons, he enjoys reading and glass blowing.
