Design Projects Re-engineering/Alberta Transportation and Utilities (now Alberta Transportation) 

Transportation and Utilities' staff handled a tough project with tight deadlines by taking a positive attitude and maintaining a professional approach. With assistance from Acton, they developed a new process for delivering the design of Alberta's roads and bridges through the private sector. Employees teamed with Acton consultants to create a customized, innovative, measurable, and flexible process. The team consulted effectively within the department and with transportation agencies, engineers, and the construction industry.

Cost savings to date exceed the project targets and customers and stakeholders have expressed high levels of satisfaction.
